ANGEL GIFT

Sometimes the veil
between here and now
is so thin
that angels descend
in the morning sun
carrying gifts

Mountains
save lives
in majestic twilight

Lakes
carry thoughts
with lucid laughter

Meadows
dance into you
if only you let them

And for a second
our hearts become part
of the universal chest
